Karan began his career at Tech Mahindra, a leading IT firm listed on the NYSE, where he played a key role in executing client strategies across the UK. His foundational experience there provided him with expertise in IT, marketing, network planning, and operations research, as well as revenue management and sales training. Recognised for his investor management skills and deep understanding of fundamental analysis while working with top Australian financial firms like Fat Prophets, Karan excelled as an Equity Specialist (November 2016 to October 2018), where he led senior account managers and drove sales and distribution for the Australasian market, reporting directly to the CFO.

Karan has also been instrumental in the commercialisation of healthcare assets and their listing on major global stock exchanges during his tenure at The iQ Group Global (October 2018 to November 2019). As part of the Private Wealth division, he worked collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to bring groundbreaking bioscience innovations to market. His contributions included identifying funding opportunities and ensuring the commercial viability of medical discoveries, underscoring his ability to adapt to complex, high-stakes environments.

Prior to becoming CEO, Karan was the Managing Director of Stock Specialist from August 2020 to December 2022. In this role, he managed all revenue-generating activities across the company, overseeing daily operations, forecasting, budgeting, marketing, and reporting. His leadership ensured seamless integration across business units, driving operational efficiency and profitability.
